Power of Attorney

According to Swiss law of obligations, the contractual relationship between a lawyer and his client is determined by art. 394 ff. OR. Each of the contracting parties has the right to terminate the contract at a minute's notice (art. 404 OR). In case of termination at the wrong time, however, the party terminating the contract is liable for damages sustained by the other party. Once a lawyer is engaged, he is committed to act on behalf of his client with due diligence and to the best of his knowledge and belief.
